Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge

Where all the animals who were old & ill,

     Are restored to health & strong again.

Please understand, I’ve done all I could

One last hug, one last kiss

You have no idea how much you’ll be missed

Go in peace now & I’ll stay with you til the end.

The memories you gave me I’ll never forget

You’ll always be number one to me

Whenever we finally meet at Rainbow Bridge,

We’ll never part again

I’ll once again look into your trusting eyes

& caress your beautiful head
